My name is Sofia, I’m eighteen years old and it’s almost been a year since I have returned home (Tuscany, Italy) after spending one year in Southern Orange County, CA. This blog was dedicated to my stay there, but now it is just a surviving memory of that wonderful year and a journal for all the adventures that the future might bring. I’m in my 13th year of High School (yep, we have 13 grades) and I plan on going to college next year. Where? No idea. My preferred major? Political Science / International Politics. If all else fails: a year with the red cross. I strongly disapprove of ignorance, or rather the apathy towards any kind of learning. I love interesting skies and taking pictures depicting my point of view. I love people who say hello and don’t even know who you are. Ballet, airports, skiing and roller coasters make me overdose on adrenaline. I’m in love with mangoes and avocados, yet my best friend in the whole wide world is deathly afraid of fruit and vegetables. I learned English thanks to my father and Disney. I’m a sucker for Haute Couture but could only buy a price tag with what I have in my wallet. I have been a reader of Vogue since I was 11, and to this day I am a proud subscriber (started costing too much. Converted to Vanity Fair). There’s a lot of things I don’t like, but I’m sure you don’t care about them.
